The Loft

The Loft is an innovative take on the traditional treehouse, sleeping 2 adults comfortably, with space for up to 2 children or young people on the sofa bed in the lounge. Hanging high above the trees of the West Wood and overlooking the ocean below, it’s perfect for stargazing at night or whiling away a lazy afternoon in your very own hot tub. Small enough to feel cosy but large enough to feel luxurious, this unique space offers a fantastic King Size bed from which you can see the ocean right from your pillow.

The Loft brings the outside in, inspired by the soft, flowing shape of the treehouse itself. It is full of contemporary design touches that blend beautifully with the natural world that surrounds it.

Outside, funky modern chairs and a large hammock await on the decking entrance – perfect for stargazing wrapped in a warm blanket or resting in the treetops. Or hop into your private hot tub on the terrace and warm up while enjoying a glass of something cold.

Inside, you’ll love the handcrafted oak and walnut interiors. It’s intimate yet indulgent, filled with little touches from the teapot kettle for your morning brew to the excellent Bluetooth speaker for your favourite tunes. There are leafy plants throughout to make the place feel as alive as the woods outside.

There’s a luxurious King Size bed with views down to the sea, plus plenty of robes, towels and hot water bottles for chilly nights.

We want you to stretch out and feel at home, so you’ll find a full-length wardrobe, and a proper kitchen stocked with beautiful Nkuku bowls, cups and plates. The cosy living area features a woodburner and a copper-topped breakfast table for two. Settle back on the sofa with a log crackling in the fire. There’s also a loo and a shower room with a beautiful hollowed-out stone basin and a drench shower.

Heading outside, the Loft opens onto a large balcony with views down to the sea. Benches tucked under the eaves give you the perfect spot to gaze at the Atlantic Ocean splashing against Baggy Point. It’s a peaceful hideaway where simple pleasures—like the whisper of waves or a dark, star-filled sky—become unforgettable.

• The sofa bed in the lounge can comfortably sleep up to 2 children or young people.

• The treehouse and hot tubs are not recommended for children under 5. If you plan to bring little ones, please speak to us before booking.
