The Hideaway is nestled in our East Wood, with tranquil views over fields and sea to Hartland Point. Perched here on the edge of the ocean, a restful rural retreat awaits you inside, small enough to be intimate but large enough to feel luxurious.
The open plan interiors are handcrafted from larch and pine, all using sustainable trees indigenous to this country. There’s a luxury king-size bed from which you can see the rolling hills from your pillow.
We want you to stretch out and feel at home, so there’s a full-length wardrobe with mirror, plus a proper kitchen and a living area with your very own wood burner, where you can enjoy a cosy dinner for two. There’s also a spacious en-suite shower room and loo.
This treehouse was designed with the surrounding wood in mind. Colours reflect the hues of the trees that are so visible from every window. There is even a nod in the decor to the Pickwell bees who have their home in one of the gardens nearby (don’t worry, they’re not too nearby!) and produce the most clear and delicious honey.
The Hideaway is just that. A place to hide, hunker-down and sleep well in the delicious big bed: somewhere you can find yourself again and connect with nature. Our hope is that our interior will blend with the wood around you and reflect the outside, within.
Both treehouses open out onto a large seated balcony with views across the rolling fields and the sea beyond. Whatever the weather, our luxury hot tub will massage your troubles or aches away. Positioned on the treehouse terrace with wonderful views, it’s the perfect place to enjoy your complimentary fizz.
You can sit out under the North Devon sky and enjoy simple pleasures like the sounds of the ocean waves down on the beach below, and the sight of the dark night sky full of stars, far away from city lights.

All our treehouses have an enclosed terrace for your dog to be free and off the lead. Please tick the add-ons box when making your booking.The Loft and The Hideaway sleep 2 adults with the additional option to have 2 children on sofa beds. If you’re looking for something a little roomier, our Den treehouse has been designed with families in mind, with a king-size bed and twin bunk room.
